Crimson Relic Frontier

Pixel-art RPG world with a crimson relic glowing on the frontier

We build handcrafted 8-bit RPGs, host retro tournaments, and run late-night arcade sessions from our studio on Spadina Avenue. Grab a controller and cross into the frontier.

Our Frontier

A studio built on cartridges and camaraderie

Founded in 2014 above a bubble-tea shop in Chinatown, Crimson Relic Frontier grew from a two-person pixel jam into a full studio. We ship original RPGs and open our doors to the local scene every week.

Every sprite is hand-placed, every chiptune track is composed in-house, and every playtest happens on real CRT monitors. We keep the craft slow, deliberate, and unmistakably retro.

The Arcade Floor

More than a workshop — a gathering hall

Thursday nights the studio flips into a 24-seat arcade. Restored cabinets, a homebrew leaderboard, and a rotating shelf of loaner controllers make it the friendliest room on Spadina.

Members get early builds of our games, a locker for their own gear, and a standing invite to monthly bracket tournaments with real trophies.
